CivicAction Greater Toronto Summit 2011 Video

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

CivicAction hosted the Greater Toronto Summit 2011 on February 10-11, 2011. Louroz Mercader is helping to build a stronger, prosperous and diverse Greater Toronto Region, and is seen in the summit recap video. He joined the CivicAction Steering Committee for 2011-2012.

Building on a year of consultations culminating in a series of excellent backgrounders, close to 1000 business, government, non-profit, labour and academic leaders created ground-breaking responses to critical challenges and opportunities facing the Toronto region.

Their recommendations, to be highlighted in our upcoming proceedings summary, point to the various roles that CivicAction and others can play in helping the region reach its full social, economic and environmental potential.

The video above is available on YouTube.

Change is Coming to Ward 7 – Campaign Headquarters Opening

Monday, September 6th, 2010

Dear Friends:

In less than 50 Days, change is coming to Ward 7 Mississauga.

On October 25, voters will have a clear decision to make when they head to the polls.

For me Louroz Mercader is a vibrant, visionary, community builder who has a proven track record of grassroots achievements. Having worked alongside Louroz, it is by no mistake that he has reached this far as his persistence and endurance will drive Ward 7 forward, which is now more than ever, much needed.

With your support we can elect Louroz in Ward 7. He has the neighbourhood focus and community vision that we need to preserve, revitalize and grow.

We need your help in running a successful campaign from Cooksville, Munden Park, Gordon Woods, Huron Park, Fairview and to Erindale Village. Please make a financial donation online at lourozmercader.com/takeaction through PayPal.

Please join us at our Official Campaign Headquarters Opening on Sunday, September 12, from 2- 4pm. Located at 3115 Hurontario Street (Across TL Kennedy Secondary School).

Sincerely,

Anastasia Tolias
Campaign Chair
