Proven Authentic Leadership
Born in Manila, Philippines and raised in Cooksville, Mississauga, Louroz is the past Chairman of Mayor Hazel McCallion’s Youth Advisory Committee. As President of the Mississauga Youth Games, he is a passionate city builder who can bridge the worlds of business, community and government together.
A Lifetime of Service
Louroz invests time and works with a diversity of people and organizations to make Ward 7 stronger. He serves on the board of directors of the GO Transit Customer Service Advisory Committee, Safe City Mississauga and the United Way of Peel Region.
Prosperity for Everyone
As founder and chairman of the Cooksville Economic Development Corporation he believes in securing local jobs for all residents and supporting the growth of our small businesses. He is leading the grassroots effort to preserve, revitalize and grow the intersection of Hurontario and Dundas.
Improving Neighbourhoods and Our Quality of Life
Louroz knows that safe neighbourhoods, protecting homes from flood prevention, building a transit network, building beautiful public spaces, providing opportunities to young people and championing our community at city hall is at the heart of changing Ward 7 for the better.
