Vote Mercader on Monday, October 25th

Monday, October 25th is Election Day. Voting is one of the most important tools that we have to protect our quality of life. We encourage everyone to get out on Monday and exercise your Right to Vote.

Three easy steps for voting:

Step 1

Know where to Vote, check your voter’s card for Poll Number, Poll Address, and voting hours.

Step 2

Bring Proper identification. Identification must prove not only the identity of the elector but also their qualifying address. The following will be acceptable forms of identification: driver’s licence (or any other form of government document which contains name & address) utility bill, property tax bill, employer record (pay stub with address) any form of photo ID.

Step 3

How to Vote: Get your paper ballot contained in a secrecy folder, and then proceed to a voting booth. Next, mark your ballot by connecting the head and tail of the arrow next to the candidate of your choice. Next, place your marked ballot in your secrecy folder and finally exit the voting booth and visit an operator at an optical scan unit.
