How the $1,200 limit applies to tickets

• Ticket price counts as a contribution — just like a donation, under the Municipal Elections Act.
• Contribution limit: up to $1,200 total to this campaign (donations and tickets combined), and no more than $5,000 across all candidates for the same council seat.
• Processing fee: checkout adds a separate 2.9% processing line on top of your ticket subtotal — only the subtotal counts toward your $1,200 limit.
• Already at your limit? Email vote@lourozmercader.com for a complimentary ticket coupon code so you can still attend.
